Miscellaneous fees
Extra space/grooming space (48") $25.
Handicapped space (end of row, limited availability) no fee. End of row spaces will be given to clerks showing cats and handicapped exhibitors first.
Ring sponsorship (2 days): $30
Stewards/Clerks
Clerks will be paid $60 a day and offered a lunch. Stewards will be paid $35 a day and offered a lunch. Clerks that steward their own rings will be paid both rates. Clerks that enter with cats will be given priority over clerks that do not show cats. Clerks will be benched closes to their rings. More experienced clerks will be assigned first. WE WILL BE USING THE CAT SHOW APP EXCLUSIVELY. ONLY CLERKS WHO CAN USE THE APP WILL BE USED.
Show Catalogue:
We will be using electronic catalogs ONLY. No paper catalogs will be offered or sold due to the exorbitant price of printing. You will receive an electronic catalog via email prior to the show and there will also be a QR code at the front entrance to download onto your electronic device. We will provide paper copies of your cat’s entry numbers upon check-in.
Club Donations:
Garden of the Cats appreciates any club donations. Donations may be given through our PayPal account: gardenofthecats@gmail.com.
Food:
We will be providing a buffet lunch for judges, clerks, stewards, and club staff only. Food trucks will be available for exhibitors to purchase lunch. Outside food will be allowed.
Show Hotels:

Basic Show Information
- If you want to attend but don’t have a shelter, contact Catherine Rudy at wolfpirateprop@aol.com.
- Benching will be assigned. Indicate benching requests in the comments of the entry sheet in TOES. We will make every effort to accommodate you.
- Clerks will be benched first, closest to their judging ring.
- Early check-in and setup will be allowed on Friday between 4 pm and 6 pm.
- Day of judging exhibitor check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. All payments must be received prior to entry into the show hall, unless specifically approved by the show manager to be paid at check-in.
- Judging begins at 9 a.m.
- Public show hours: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Cat litter will be provided; however, you will need to bring your own litter pan.
Show Terms & Conditions
Entry Fees:
All entry and miscellaneous fees are due and payable to Garden of the Cats within 72 hours of submission of your entry. By entering the show, you agree to pay ALL fees, whether or not you attend the show or bench any cats/kittens. Regardless of the date of entry, ALL fees must be paid or postmarked prior to the closing date of the show (October 27, 2026). No payments will be accepted at check-in unless approved in advance by show management. Approved payments at check-in must be made IN CASH ONLY. Money orders and personal checks must be made payable to Garden of the Cats. Payments made to PayPal shall be done to gardenofthecats@gmail.com only. No other PayPal account is authorized to receive payment for entry fees intended for Hiss-terical Haunting 2026. Returned payments FOR ANY REASON will incur a $50 fee. Additionally, all relevant information will be forwarded to the TICA Executive Offices for appropriate action. Garden of the Cats will pursue any money owed the club by entrants to the extent that TICA Show Rules and Colorado State Law allows. Pursuant to TICA Show Rules 23.6.1 through 23.6.7.1, Garden of the Cats Show Committee may, at its discretion, refuse to accept any entry for listed reasons.
NO REFUNDS!
Once an entry or service has been received, only substitutions may be made. Withdrawal from the show does not entitle the entrant to a refund of any kind.
Cats:
No kittens under the age of three (3) months old are allowed in the show hall. Be prepared to show proof of age.
Household pets eight (8) months of age and older must be spayed/neutered.
Kittens entered into the show must be at least four (4) months of age, but less than eight (8) months of age on the first date of the show (October 25, 2025).
Cats for Sale: Sales spaces will be available to exhibitors ONLY and must be owned by the same, paid exhibitor. Kittens for sale must be three (3) calendar months of age. Proof of age must be provided, upon request of the Show Manager.
No cats/kittens may be confined to travel carriers during the show hours. Any exhibitor disregarding these rules will be asked to leave the Show.
Health Requirements:
This is a non-vetted show.
TICA Standing Rule 205.3-205.3.5: Any cat/kitten showing signs of illness, parasites, or fungus will be escorted from the Show Hall. All entries should be vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and feline enteritis. All entries should test negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Any cat or kitten from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within 21 days prior to the first day of the show is ineligible for competition. Cats over the age of four (4) months old must be vaccinated against rabies. Proof of vaccination is required and must be provided if asked by the Show Management. TICA Show Rules require all claws (front AND back) be clipped prior to benching.
Show Rules:
TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering this show, ALL exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and Show Committee. Official show rules, registration information and forms can be obtained from TICA, P. O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551, or online at www.tica.org.
Liability:
TICA Show Rules 29.1.1.2: The Show Management shall take all reasonable care of cats, carriers, and other personal property of exhibitors, however, it is expressly stipulated that neither the Show Management, nor any member of the club, sponsor of the show, the City of Colorado Springs, nor TICA and its officers can be held liable for the loss of, or accident to the cats, carriers, or other personal property of any exhibitor. Neither Garden of the Cats, City of Colorado Springs, nor TICA may be held liable for loss, theft or damage to animals or personal property of exhibitors or their guests.
