According to records found at the breeder’s house and website, Queenie is a female Munchkin or short Minuet that was born on September 29, 2020. She is missing her tail and is very tiny. Her legs are extremely short, even for a Munchkin/Minuet.
Queenie was in the care of a volunteer foster parent, who saw to her medical care and recovery. She has since regained some weight but because of her size, it is hard to tell what is her normal weight. She has been cleared by the vets for re-homing. She is scheduled for her spay, vaccinations and microchip on December 30, 2024. At this time, she will have some much needed dental care done. She will then become available for adoption.
Her foster parent reports that Queenie is a bit shy and unsure of her surroundings, but if you give her love, she will eat it up. She will hide her head in your hands or armpit when she gets nervous. She loves scratches on her butt and will stick her little tailless rear in the air for those scratches. She is very sweet but needs reassurance. She is quiet, but when nervous, she will emit a tiny meow, as if she is asking for reassurance.
Queenie will get along with other cats but should not go to a household that is chaotic or very busy. A home with several small children would probably not be good for Queenie. She would do best in a quiet home.
Queenie will not need any additional medical care related to her experience in that horrible living situation.
